THE NEIGHBORHOOD & SOME FUN RULES
BY BOOKING, YOU ACCEPT AND ACKNOWLEDGE THE FOLLOWING:
NOISE CURFEW: Music, loud conversations, and noise in general must be quieted down by 10pm, no exceptions.
➔Before 10pm, all noisy activities must be moved inside the house to keep contained and not disturb the neighbors' right to sleep peacefully.
Neighbors will notify owners and the Sheriff's department in the event of a noise complaint, which may result in a fine and/or restrictions on your account through Airbnb. Please be respectful to the neighbors!
EVENTS & PARTIES:
➔EVENTS OR PARTIES MUST HAVE HOST PERMISSION. There is an extra charge to cover additional cleaning costs. There will be additional fees if events or parties are discovered to be had without permission / acknowledgement by the host.
Drinking is only to be done by of-age individuals, in a controlled and respectful way.
PETS:
➔We are more than happy to accommodate your furry friends! Simply notify us through the app if you are intending to bring a pet. Please note, there will be a pet fee to allow for extra cleaning, and there is a maximum of 2 pets unless otherwise approved by the host.
The host reserves the right to charge extra fees for any damages, additional cleaning, and/or lost items if deemed necessary, at the discretion of the host.

➔ We are so happy you are here! Please keep in mind that this is our family’s home when not rented and we ask that you treat it kindly. Enjoy yourself and this special place!
➔ THERMOSTAT & TEMPERATURE CONTROL: please note, we have central heat, but window A/C units. There is no central A/C. Feel free to message us about any questions regarding the heating and cooling.
➔ FYI -- the upstairs shower requires you pull out on the handle to turn it on, then turn for temperature control.
➔ WE ARE ON A SEPTIC TANK. PLEASE DO NOT FLUSH ANYTHING EXCEPT TOILET PAPER. Anything other than toilet paper, please put into the trash cans.
➔ Please note! We cannot guarantee the fill status of BBQ propane tank. If guests choose to use the outdoor BBQ, please bring your own propane tank (the market nearby provides propane tanks and propane fillups).
➔ Absolutely NO SMOKING in our home. Any smoking or vaping must be done outside, SAFELY. PLEASE ENSURE ALL MATCHES, LIT CIGARETTE BUDS, ETC ARE COMPLETELY OUT (RUN WATER OVER THEM AND THROW THEM IN TRASH. YOU ARE IN THE BEAUTIFUL SOCAL MOUNTAINS, WHERE FIRE DANGER CAN BE HIGH.
➔ Absolutely NO BONFIRES on the property. Again, fire danger is high; especially in the summer. Severe fines are issued by the county for any burning of any kind.
➔ If there is anything missing when you arrive, or any damage done during your stay (we understand these things happen) please report it immediately to us. This is to avoid having any overcharges when you leave.
➔ FYI, the front door keypad will auto-lock after 90 seconds. We still ask you to click the "lock" button upon leaving. Also, make sure the sliding patio door is locked!
➔ Extra sheets, comforters, and pillows are provided upstairs for the two trundle pull-out beds.
➔ Please note, laundry room is outside your patio, in an exterior door, shared with the neighboring ADU tenant.
➔ Please do not move the furniture. If furniture is moved and not returned to its place, an additional fee of $100 will be charged.
➔ Hot tub: The hot tub is very user friendly. Simply adjust the temperature to your comfort level and use the pump / jet buttons. Please do not adjust the mode.
➔ NOTE: You are out in nature. You may end up encountering wildlife of many kinds. Please respect and keep your distance from any and all wild animals, as they are just that-- WILD! :) And although we don't see them often, please keep an eye out for snakes in the brush or high grass. You can find snake safety info here. Remember, in the event of any emergencies, CALL 911.

➔ Hang any used towels on the towel racks in the bathrooms. Remove used sheets and please lay them on top of the bed.
➔ Turn off any A/C units and turn all lights off.

TECH INFO
➔ The downstairs living room TV and Master bedroom TV have a Roku system, very user friendly. Simply turn the TV and choose your preferred streaming app. Feel free to login to any of your accounts, just remember to log out when you're done!
➔ There is a Netflix account already loaded on all TVs, feel free to use this account just please choose the LILAC MOUNTAIN RANCH (red) profile.
➔ All the string lights around the outside of our home are on a timer, they turn on around sunset and turn off around 12am. If you'd like to manually turn them on / off, simply locate the timer by the sliding patio door and click the button on it once.
➔ There are 2 accent LED strips in the theater room along each side of the room (under wood support beam).
➔ Please do not move the theater technology shelf or any equipment on it. It's all very delicate and positioned for ideal viewing angles.
➔ There is a light switch in between the middle tech shelf to control the bright ceiling lights for the theater room.
THEATER SYSTEM:
STEP 1:
➔ Use the VANKYO remote to power on the projector (please do not move the projector or the projection screen, as they are both pre-aligned for viewing angles).
STEP 2:
➔ Use the VIZIO remote to power on the sound bar and control volume. You'll need to hit the input button to ensure the speaker is on the correct input for the projector AUX connection (green light on the soundbar). Have something playing, and keep pressing input until you hear the sound.
STEP 3:
➔ Use the ROKU remote to power on / navigate on Roku.
